Sheriff's program to clean up debris on roadsides

| May 3, 2018 1:00 AM

With the snow finally or should we say “hopefully” melting, it has exposed all the trash along the sides of our roads.

Boundary County Sheriff’s Reserve Cpl. Jim Paulus is ready to get a crew of those sentenced to do community labor back out on the roads and to start picking up the trash. We have other Sheriff’s Reserves that will be assisting him in taking the workers out, and we ask that when you see them alongside the road that you slow down and be attentive as the workers will sometimes be picking up trash at the very edge of the roads. Cpl. Paulus and the other Reserves are anxious to get the program going again this year, they are just waiting for the people that will be ordered by the court to do the Sheriff’s labor program.
