John Raymond Johnson

John Raymond Johnson, 60, passed away May 4, 2018, at Sacred Heart in Spokane, Wash., due to complications of an extended illness. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

John was born Oct. 5, 1957, in Bonners Ferry to Edwin and Wanda Johnson. John entered this world with his twin sister, Jeannie.

Growing up in Bonners Ferry and graduating in 1975, John pursued many jobs which included driving truck, traveling to many places, one which was dear to his heart and spoke many times of wanting to return, Tennessee. John returned to Spokane, he married and had two children which were the love of his life, Eddie and Kimmie. John spent several years working as a superintendent of the American Kennel Club. Later divorced, John spent the remainder of his days raising and loving his children and grandchildren. John moved to Colville, Wash., to be near his brother.

Being a strong loving man with abundant faith, John had many friends and loved helping those in need.

John is survived by his children, Edvin Norman Johnson and Kimberley Anita Johnson; four grandchildren, Tre, Dayton, Attison and Davyn; and sisters Janice Hunter and Jeannie Bonnes. Preceded by death by his father and mother, Edwin and Wanda Johnson; and two brothers, Jerry and Ron Johnson.

John’s wishes to all of us is — remember the good memories and love we all share.
