Courtesy photo Wind downed a tree that took out power lines around 10 a.m. on Oct. 31. The power lines and tree blocked U.S. 95 at milepost 518 and closed the highway for an hour until Northern Lights was able to repair the situation. Also responding were North Bench Fire, Boundary County Sheriff’s Office, and Bonners Ferry Police Department.
