BONNERS FERRY — On October 30, the Badger boys soccer team gathered in Naples for an award dinner with their friends and family members. The group talked about the season and its ups and downs, final player statistics, and bid a farewell to the senior teammates.

“The program will be graduating 11 seniors of which all of them contributed to the great success of this seasons,” said coach Wayne Wilkerson. “The following mass of talent will be missed, but we wish them the best of luck in their upcoming winter and spring sports participation as well as their continued success after high school graduation.”

Isaac Wilson finished the season with the title of IML All League MVP along with Drew Foster, Gabe See, and Seth Bateman being selected as IML All League team.

“The freshman and sophomore players are a talented group of up and coming players, and when you add the strong junior class players next year looks to be another impressive season,” said Wilkerson. “I’d like to thank all the HS administration folks, parents and family for their continued support of the players and soccer program. In addition I have great appreciation and respect for the coaching staff (Derek Oxford, Brycen Lunger), they were a huge part of the success of this soccer program this season.”

The team’s overall record was 15-3-2. The Badgers were undefeated in the IML 10-0, and finished second in Districts.
