BONNERS FERRY — On Nov. 16-17, St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Bonners Ferry hosted their annual Craft Fair for their women’s group. This is the first craft fair the ladies were able to host after the church burned down two years ago.

The new building boasts elegantly functional facilities, including a kitchen and dining hall which was filled with tables laden with goods. Friendly chatter could be heard from the entrance to the church, leading visitors to the dining hall where they could socialize and support the local vendors and church.

From homemade soaps and jams, to hand crafted jewelry and apparel, there was a little something to prepare everyone for the gift giving season.

There was also a silent auction held, filled with various items, and food served, as well as baked goods for purchase.

The money raised from the kitchen and the silent auction goes back to helping the various programs that the church offers, such as community dinners and services, supporting their religious education program, and supporting the church members in need.

“We appreciate everyone coming back and supporting us. We missed doing it for two years and we were excited to come back,” said Sandy Garner.

St. Ann’s Catholic Church is located at 6712 El Paso St. in Bonners Ferry.
