BONNERS FERRY — The Badger girls soccer team played against Timberlake on Sept. 25, losing the game 5-0.

On Sept. 27, they played an away game against Coeur d’Alene Charter, losing 8-0 to the defending 3A state champions.

On Oct. 2, the girls played an away game against Priest River, missing their chance to score, which sent the team home with a 2-0 loss.

Today, Oct. 4, the team plays its final home game against St. George’s School.

The 3A district tournament begins Monday, Oct. 8, with the Badgers traveling to Sunrise Rotary Park in Rathdrum to face Timberlake.

“That will be tough,” said coach Ed Moe. “We are hoping to do better and actually play even.”

Being the seventh-seeded team, they have some catching up to do.

“We are improving but we are running out of season,” said Moe.
