The week of September 25 and 26 sadly, was the last golf week of the Mirror Lake Ladies’ 2018 Season, which happily, turned into a beautiful evening and day. Game of the Day was “Ace of Aces” which revealed the Season’s top “Aces” out of all the 2018 “Aces of the Month.”

For the Tuesday evening, Sept. 25, players, Renee Murphy won “Ace of Aces” with her net 33. Renee had been the Tuesday evening Ace of the Month for July. Runners up were Tuesday evening Aces of the Month Julie Williams (May,) Gerry Ann Howlett (June,) Elaine Morgan (August), and Sephanie Lederhos (September.) Julie Williams won Low Gross with her score of 40, and Renee Murphy won Low Putts with 14.

For the Wednesday morning, Sept. 26, players, Ada Gardiner won “Ace of Aces” with her net 32. Ada had been the Wednesday morning Ace of the Month for July. Runners up were Wednesday morning Aces of the Month Linda Rupley (May,) Karen English (June,) Linda Bogden (August,) and Ruth Ann Wilson (September.) Carrie Figgins won Low Net with a stunning 25, and Karen English won Low Putts with 14. Congratulations to all winners!

The Mirror Lake Ladies look forward to their wind-up “Impossible Golf” final meet of the season next Wednesday, where Mirror Lake Golf Club Manager/Wizard Ralph Lotspeich sets up an especially challenging course that is essentially unplayable but is really a lot of fun because every hole is so exasperating (similar to regular play but this time the holes are meant to be exasperating!) A “denim and diamonds” theme dinner celebrating the Ladies’ 2018 Season follows in the evening. It has been a very fun and exciting golf year, and we are sorry to see it come to a close. We welcome all other interested golf ladies to join us next season for another go at the beautiful golf rounds of Bonners Ferry’s Mirror Lake Golf.
