Second Harvest mobile food truck returns

BONNERS FERRY — Next Tuesday, Oct. 9, will be the date of the last Second Harvest Mobile Food truck in Boundary County for the year. Again the site will be the Trinity Lutheran Parking lot from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. No appointment or documentation is needed. Please bring your own boxes to take the food home in.

The last truck served more than 240 families with 10,200 pounds of food. Todd, the driver, puts together the loads the day before the delivery and looks for a variety of food to fill a family’s pantry.

This truck will be sponsored by a local church, Bonners Ferry Veterinary Clinic and Thrivent Financial.
