VOLUNTEERS: Help sought for Naples event
As 2018 comes to a close and winter starts to set in, there is one last event that has yet to come. The Naples Holiday Festival has yet to be planned for this year.
The event has been growing every year and it seems to be the same three or four people that are in on the planning each year. The event takes many volunteers to run, and with growth, we still need more. The event is designed for a fun day with very little to no cost for families. We try to do an ice rink when weather permits, movies, pictures with Santa, craft fair, making ornaments, eating treats, games, and Christmas tree sales.
This year, the event is planned from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8. If you would like to help out, donate time or money, please contact Chief Tony from South Boundary Fire at 208-290-2613 for more info and planning meeting dates. Maybe you have a game idea or a way to fund one. C’mon and join in the fun!

THANK YOU: Flower baskets appreciated
Thank you to the City of Bonners Ferry and Sugar Plum Floral for the beautiful baskets hanging downtown this summer.
Thanks to the businesses who had flowers out in front of their stores; the Mexican restaurant’s flowers were exceptional again this year.
Thank you to the lovely lady who picks up the trash and keeps the road to Paradise Valley so clean.
