Mt. Hall Elementary news

| October 18, 2018 1:00 AM

September came and went and our year is off to a great start. The students and staff at Mt. Hall Elementary did an excellent job falling right back into routine.

Starting up a school year can have its challenges, but we have been able to streamline our start by staying consistent and maintaining expectations for our students. Every day we focus on these three characteristics: Safe, Civil, and Productive. These expectations are taught throughout the year. Our teachers and staff teach these expectations and the students know exactly what is expected of them. Each month the teachers have the difficult task of selecting their Citizens of the Month. Here is a picture of our very deserving COMs for the month of September.

In other Wildcat news, the Mt. Hall Auction is coming up on Saturday, Oct. 20. The doors will open at 4:30 p.m. and the auction will start at 5:30 p.m. There will be live and silent auction, and dinner and espresso drinks available to purchase. This is a kid-friendly event and we hope to see you there. You can check out our Facebook page at MtHallAuction2018.

Mt. Hall Elementary will be hosting the October Board of Trustees meeting on Monday, Oct. 23 at 6 p.m. This is a great opportunity to be involved and meet our Superintendent and Board of Trustees.

That’s it for now. Until next month, Go Wildcats!
