Trinity Lutheran starts Homework Club

| October 18, 2018 1:00 AM

BONNERS FERRY — Would you like a safe, fun place for your children to be after school? There is an exciting new program being offered at Trinity Lutheran Church on Wednesday afternoons from 4-6 p.m. that will meet that need. It is called the Homework Club and is offered at no cost to all families.

This is a place for children to come to get their homework done, receive help on school tasks as needed, hang out with friends, play non-video games, do special projects and have a snack, of course. Parents can feel confident knowing that homework will get done one night a week without hassle. All volunteers are background checked and most are retired teachers.

Call 208-267-2894. Leave a message with your name and phone number and your call will be returned promptly.

Place: Trinity Lutheran Church at the corner of Cody and Stephens Streets, by Wells Fargo and Columbia banks. Valley View students don’t need to cross the highway to get here.

Day and time: Wednesdays from 4-6 p.m.

Cost: No charge.
