BONNERS FERRY — The Badgers baseball team won the Idaho state 3A title this past spring, earning championship rings. The rings were presented to the team during halftime at the Badgers football game on Aug. 31.

Each ring was customized with the name of each player on the side, with the top displaying a jeweled baseball.

The boys weren’t the only ones to get rings, though — the coaches each got one as well. Tom Turpin also presented his wife and the other female figures who played a large role in the success of the team with necklaces.

The excitement from the team, coaches and audience was high as Turpin presented each player with their ring. After the boys opened their boxes and saw the rings, they spoke excitedly and showed them off to one another.

The team thanked the community and businesses for their continued support.
