Once again the community has provided outstanding support to the Moyie Shrine Club in its endeavors in raising money for the Spokane Shrine Hospital for Children. Club members are grateful to all who bought raffle tickets, bought food at the food booth, the popcorn booth and the ice cream booth at the Boundary County Fair. Great appreciation goes to the community businesses and individuals who provided the many items that were raffled.

All of the money raised helps provide orthopedic care, including spinal corrections and athletic injuries, and burn care at no cost to patients and their families. Persons who know of a child who may need care can contact the Shrine Hospital in Spokane directly or contact any Moyie Shrine Club member.

The Club is pleased to announce the winners of its raffle: one half beef donated by Sugar Plum Floral, Chuck Humes; one half beef donated by Foust Logging, Tyler Langford; two one-half hogs donated by Mountain West Bank, John Riddle and Kelly Wilson; two one-half hogs donated by Columbia Bank, Mike Howe, and Rae Anderson; two one half hogs donated by Rob Pluid and Sons Logging, Ken Wenhold, and Alan Flory; $400 food draw donated by Super 1 Foods, Rafae[ Droz; $100 gas card donated by Les Schwab, Tucker Dirks; $50 gas card donated by Dycks Auto and Oil, Jess Fairchild; $100 gift certificate donated by Carquest, Worthington; $40 gift certificate donated by Carter Country, Laura Richardson; two $50 Feist Creek gift certificates donated by Cliff Kramer, Tim and Ron Weaver; and a Stihl leaf blower donated by Boundary Tractor, Brett Payne.
