Girls soccer earns tie at Stillwater Christian

BONNERS FERRY — On Sept. 11, the Badgers girls soccer team played an away game against Timberlake, losing 8-0.

On Sept. 12, the team played against at Northwest Christian, losing again 0-8. On Sept. 14, the girls battled with Kellogg, losing 0-2, but never dropping their spirits.

On Sept. 18, the team battled Stillwater Christian in Kalispell, Mont., and came home with a 1-1 tie. The Badgers’ Paisley Schulte scored at the 56 minute mark, and the Stillwater team scored about 20 minutes later.

“We are getting better and more competent,” said coach Ed Moe. Speaking of the Stillwater standoff. “It was a good, even game.”

With five games left before the district competitions, the team is gearing up to face the tough games ahead.
