BONNERS FERRY — The Badgers boys soccer team played against Stillwater Christian in Kalispell on Sept. 18, ending in a 0-0 tie. Coach Wayne Wilkerson remarked that it was a very defensive 80 minute battle, and they just couldn’t generate a score despite playing hard.

“We played OK,” said Wilkerson. “We’ll work on some of the basics this week preparing for our next games.”

Wilkerson said that they always enjoy playing against Stillwater Christian, because they are a tough, aggressive team that has a similar style to how the Badgers play.

“We usually match up well, and this time being no exception,” said Wilkerson.

Bonners Ferry resumes Intermountain League play on Tuesday, Oct. 2, traveling to Priest River for a 4 p.m. contest.
