For the week of Sept. 18 and 19, Game of the Day was “Mystery Team” in which the identity of the winning team is unknown until after play is done, when cards are picked to determine which players were the winning team. And since it was the last Tuesday/Wednesday of the month, it was also “Ace of the Month” day. Many prizes to give out!

For the Tuesday evening, Sept. 11, players, Stephanie Lederhos was “Ace of the Month,” and the winning mystery team members were Gerry Ann Howlett, Elaine Morgan, Renee Murphy, and Stephanie Lederhos. Renee Murphy won “Low Net” with a score of 31.

For the Wednesday morning, Sept. 19, players, Ruth Ann Wilson won “Ace of the Month,” and the winning mystery team members were Linda Bogden, Linda Rupley, and Evelyn Rae. Karen English won “Low Gross” with a 51, and Linda Rupley won “Low Net” with 35. Linda Rupley also had the low putts with a remarkable 14. Karen English had a chip in on Hole No. 2 that also resulted in a stunning birdie! Congratulations to all winners!

The Mirror Lake Ladies meet on Tuesday evenings and/or Wednesday mornings at Mirror Lake Golf Club from the first Wednesday in May through the last Wednesday in September. Next Wednesday will be our final golf day for the season, with the exception of our wind-up golf “fun day” coming up on Oct. 3. It has been a very fun and exciting year. If you are a lady golfer who could not join us this year, make a note to come by on a Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning next May to check us and the Mirror Lake Golf Course out! All lady golfers at whatever level are welcome to join.
