Weed control deadline extended to April 12

| April 4, 2019 1:00 AM

The Boundary County Weed Department will be extending the deadline for the Neighborhood Cooperative Weed Control application to Friday, April 12.

Residents can pick up applications at the University of Idaho Extension Office Bonners Ferry or print off an application from the Boundary County website, (boundarycountyid.org) under the weed department icon.

The neighborhood weed cooperative reimburses Boundary County landowners for the purchase of herbicides to spray their noxious weeds. This program will also reimburse landowners for certain pasture mix seeds. This program is funded through a grant from the Idaho State Department of Agriculture.

For more information please contact; Dave Wenk, Boundary County Weed Superintendent at 208-267-5341 or dwenk@boundarycountyid.org. REMEMBER — SPREAD THE WORD, NOT THE WEED!
