Fish Tacos

I have always enjoyed fish tacos so I thought I would take a try at them. Here is my recipe.

1 lb. fish fillets (cod or other white fish)

2 tsp chili powder

1 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp ground cumin

1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

salt & pepper to taste

Olive or Avocado oil

1 dozen corn tortillas

Salsa

1 Avocado, sliced

Cabbage, thinly sliced (used red about half a small one)

Cider Vinegar

Put cabbage in a bowl. Sprinkle with about one Tbsp of cider vinegar and salt. Mix well. Peel avocado and slice for later. Rise fish in cold water. Pat dry with paper towels. Sprinkle with herbs. Put oil in cast iron pan heat to medium heat. Cook fish a few minutes till flaky. Remove to plate and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Heat tortillas and place on plate. Assemble the tortillas by putting fish, avocado, and cabbage in each. Top with salsa and serve.
