The SCWMA (Selkirk Cooperative Weed Management Association) has published a new booklet for Bonner and Boundary County residents on weed identification and control along with many other guides.

This new booklet replaces a 10-year-old booklet that targeted the five northern counties. We have some different noxious weed problems compared to our neighbors to the south so we decided to update the booklet.

It is free and available throughout the county. People can pick them up at various businesses in the county or the University of Idaho extension office in Bonners Ferry. We would like to give a huge thank you to the Kootenai Tribe of Idaho for funding the publication.

Remember … Spread the word, not the weed.
