Suther B. Fulton, Jr., 72, passed away April 1, 2019. As per his request, no services will be held.
He was a 46-year resident of Boundary County. He was born in Los Angeles, Calif., on May 26, 1946. Moved to Idaho in 1972 where he met his wife of 45 years.
An Army veteran, he enjoyed shooting sports, hunting, fishing, hiking, and played a wicked game of chess as all opponents found out.
He worked in several different facets of the timber industry until suffering disabling injuries. He then entered college to receive a degree in education in three years of intense study.
Suther taught in a small private school in Bonners Ferry until forced into retirement from a digressing spinal condition and a serious illness.
He is survived by his wife, Neva of Bonners Ferry, and son, William of Ajo, Ariz.; mother, Lucille of Post Falls, Idaho; sisters, Sharon Sawyer of Kent, Wash., and Barbara Stevens of Rathdrum, Idaho; brothers, Jeff of Monterey, Calif., and Tim of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; plus many nieces, nephews, and their children.
