REDOUBT: Standing up to liberals’ hatred
I was disgusted to read the “Redoubt” letter in the 12th July edition from the “human rights” council. The redoubt movement is absolutely political. Conservatives are fed up with the constant berating — as shown in their letter.
Liberals portray us as evil from the top down: Obama says we “cling to guns and religion”; Clinton calls us “deplorables.” They claim we’re homophobic, islamophobic, misogynistic racist xenophobes. Leftist politicians call for conservatives to be harassed, hounded out of restaurants; “punched in the face.” We’ve endured constant attacks on everything we hold dear. Remember the mass shooting at a Congressional baseball game practice by a liberal? Remember Maxine Waters’ call for progressives to “get in their face”? Remember antifa beating people in Portland?
The media lie, alter videos, smear kids on a field trip. Liberals grab peoples’ MAGA hats, throw soft drinks at them, spit on us, spray us with pepper spray, or beat bloody those who attend Trump rallies. Leftist professors call for white people to be deported, or call for “muscle” to chase a reporter out of a public event.
Hatred of conservatives and their values is everywhere, but this “commission” has the gall to tell US to be tolerant, to not fall sway to “fear, hatred, intolerance, and violence”. This is laughable! Everything they claim we are, is representative of the left. YOU own this, liberals: don’t lie about it and try to put it on us. You “suggest” we show tolerance and respect. I say, YOU FIRST.
