CNA autumn graduates listed
Boundary Community Hospital and North Idaho College announced the graduation of the autumn semester Certified Nursing Assistant class.
Whether at the local hospital, or at home with in-home services, the person more than likely helping take care of your personal needs is a Certified Nursing Assistant. A CNA is someone who has completed a certification course that includes classroom, lab, and clinical experience to ensure they are able to provide personal care in compliance with the state’s regulations. Over the past eight weeks, our newest graduates have learned the ins and outs of what it means to be a CNA in Bonners Ferry.
With time spent training with nurses at Boundary Community Hospital, the students come away with an appreciation of the dedication and skills needed in the real world.
Boundary Community Hospital, in conjunction with North Idaho College, offers CNA certification courses quarterly in Bonners Ferry. Next semester will be January through March 2020. For information about the CNA program, contact Tracey Maas, RN at tracey.m@bcch.org or call 208-267-3141, Ext. 4312.
