Warm greetings from Boundary County Middle School!
BCMS is busy, and we continue to find more to do! In the last week, BCMS hosted a robotics tournament, completed our wrestling season, started our basketball season, and began our 12 Days of Kindness.
The BCMS Leadership Class puts on our 12 Days of Kindness during the three weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas Break. Each day provides a new focus to intentionally be kind. Great Job BCMS Leadership Class!
Carrying our kindness forward, BCMS is excited to continue our tradition of competition with the high school. BCMS will be collecting turkeys and hams for those in need, and BCMS needs your help in collecting more than the high school. Please, support BCMS and those in need by bringing a frozen turkey or ham to the middle school before Dec. 19!
In continuing my focus of safety at BCMS, we now have an anonymous reporting line available through a program provided to the district called See, Tell, Now. All students and parents will receive information on this program this week, and this reporting line will provide a resource for our school community to report anything related to the safety of our students, staff, and school.
Our community at BCMS requires a vast amount of support from school district staff, parents, community members, and our students. It is an honor of mine to invite all of you to join us for a couple of wonderful concerts in the near future. Please, join our BCMS Band on Dec. 16, at 7 p.m. at the high school, and the BCMS Choir on Dec. 17, at 7 p.m. at the high school. We look forward to seeing you there!
Happy Holidays!
