At the Idaho Sheriff’s and Jail Administrators training conference last week in Boise, Sheriff Dave Kramer and jail Sgt. Jeff Hoff received the 2019-20 certification for Boundary County jail.
This certification is awarded to those jails that meet the Idaho jail standards and this is the third year in a row that Boundary County has met those standards. The certificate was awarded by Bonneville County Sheriff Paul Wilde, who heads the Idaho Jail Standards Committee.
After handing out the certificate of compliance to those that met the standards, Wilde told the group there are three jails that really stand out as a success for what they have been able to accomplish, and Boundary County was one of the three.
