Bonners Ferry High School Team, Dukes Claybusters: Boy what lousy weather, 22 degrees, snowing, windy, and low clouds for poor visibility. I am sure proud of these students all showing how dedicated and North Idaho tough they are.
In week four they were in second place team wise in the Big-Sky-I-Net standing. Colin Fairchild was second place in the individual standings. Today scores were; Ryan Carelli high total of 39 with 19 & 20; Colin Fairchild 20&15 = 35; Wyatt Hathaway 15&20 = 35; Zane Carver 16&19 = 35: Kamen Nelson 21&13 = 34; Wyatt McDonald 16&15 = 31; Cassidy Underhill 9&4 = 12 and Melanie Campbell 9&12 = 21.
I commend all these team shooters and their parents for being so dedicated. Remember those good school grades should be easier as it is warmer inside.

Bonners Ferry Gun Club: Well the over-the-hill gang had another tough weather day with 12 degrees and a hard north wind, very cold. We had 12 shooters. I commend them all. We didn’t shoot any Annie’s, too cold.
Paula and Ed Hodgins provided fresh biscuits and gravy for lunch, very good and appreciated, as they are new members. I don’t know how, but Coach Lonny shot a 25&16 = 41 winning “A” class and Mike Pruitt won “B” class with 20&13 = 33. Hope the weather warms up for the next week to come.
Shoot safe and keep your powder dry. Also keep your head down.
