Weight limit now in effect for Ruby Creek Bridge #2

The Ruby Creek Bridge #2, located 3000 feet west on Ruby Creek Road from the Deep Creek Loop intersection, is now under a weight restriction.

Evaluations from the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) shows the bridge is not adequate to carry legal loads, therefore the following weight restrictions are now in effect. The maximum tonnage for a three axle truck is 11 tons, for a five axle truck is 19 tons, and for six or more axles it is now 24 tons. The axle limit is 4.3 tons.
