Beverly Jean Dillon-Maples

Beverly left us, her family who loved her with all our hearts, tragically on Jan. 4, 2019.

Beverly Jean Dillon was born to her parents John and Dorothy Dillon in Portland, Ore. Beverly attended Laurelwood Adventist Academy in Gaston, Ore., and graduated in 1964. She was a member of the Seventh day Adventist Church. Beverly loved her Father in Heaven, and believed in showing loving care to all of God’s creatures. She had a big heart full of love patience and acceptance of all people.

She enjoyed oil painting and watercolor art, traveling, playing cards and going on family excursions to the rivers, lakes and waterfalls of North Idaho. She enjoyed many campfire dinners and day camping with her family. She loved birds and often had parakeets as pets and taught them to talk. She was a sweet lady and everyone enjoyed having her around.

She was preceded in death by her Beloved Grandmother Bertha Notestine, her Parents John Dillon and Dorothy Hooper Dillon, and her step-father Edward Mark.

She is survived by — six brothers: John Dillon Jr., (Butch), Ben Dillon, Mike Dillon, Ralph Dillon, and Ted Dillon all of Oregon, Patrick Dillon and wife Arlette of California. Two sisters: Joanne Dillon, of Molalla, Ore., and Cindy Warren and husband Mike of Oregon City, Ore. Three children: Tim Pressnall and wife Liz of Arizona, Jerry Pressnall, Nancy Gould Nash and husband Wayne of Bonners Ferry, her husband Kelly and family. Four grandchildren: Elsa Pressnall of Bonners Ferry, David (Tony) Gould of Bremerton, Wash., Melissa Sorenson and husband Mason of Rathdrum, Idaho, Ashley Gould and fiancé Zac Nuttall, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Her four great-grandchildren: Kaycee and Riley Sorenson, James Gould, and one on the way. Her beloved cousin: Suzanne Floyd and numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews.
