Kootenai River Days just around the corner

BONNERS FERRY — Now that summer has arrived, it is time for the annual Kootenai River Days, which will kick off at The Pearl Theater on Wednesday, July 10, at 6 p.m. with Family Movie Night, featuring “Mary Poppins Returns.”

Thursday is all about the adults with the Rotary Wine Walk. On Friday there is a Golf Scramble for the Rob Gust and CJ Erickson Skool Scholarship. Registration is at 12:30 p.m. and tee off is at 1 p.m.

Saturday will be a busy day starting with the Farmer’s Market from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the city parking lot. From 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. people can test their skills at the Corn Hole Tournament in two person teams at Riverside Auto Center.

At 2 p.m., Main Street will close down to prepare for the events to follow.

From 3-7 p.m. there will be a beef, pork, ribs, and wild game cook off, while children can enjoy the bounce house and face painting beginning at 6 p.m.

At 7 p.m., there will be belly dancers performing, followed by the Area 56 and Street dance that begins at 9 p.m.
