Mirror Lake Ladies' Golf Report

For the week of June 25-26, Game of the Day was “Longest Putt on Hole #9” and, being the last Wednesday of the month, it was also “Ace” day.

For the Tuesday evening players, Gerry Ann Howlett made a clean sweep of all awards: Low gross (43), Low net (33) and Low Putts (13), a chip-in on Hole #8 and topping it off with the longest putt and a birdie on Hole #9. If follows that Gerry Ann is June’s Tuesday evening’s Ace of the Month! Tuesday evening’s Flight B “Ace” was Suzanne Cullinan with a very honorable 58. Way to go, ladies!

For the Wednesday morning golfers, Ace of the Month was President Carrie Figgins with her outstanding Low Net of 38. Linda Rupley had the longest putt on Hole #9 and Linda also won for Low Putts, Flight A with 15. Karen English had the Low Gross, Flight A with 53. In Flight B, Etta Mae Schneurle won for Low Putts with 17 and Carrie Figgins won Low Gross with 58.

Don’t forget “Margaritaville” at the Mirror Lake Golf Club on Wednesday, July 17! Get ready for 18 holes of golf with cart, a delicious lunch, breakfast snacks, 50-50, special raffle baskets and prizes. Check in time is 8 a.m., tee off at 9 a.m., $65 per person for the whole shebang (except the raffle and 50-50 tickets). All lady golfers are welcome to sign up and join in! The Mirror Lake Golf ladies meet every Tuesday evening and/or every Wednesday morning at the Mirror Lake Golf Club in Bonners Ferry from the beginning of May through the middle of October. Tuesday evenings, arrive at 5 p.m., and Wednesday mornings, arrive at or around 8 a.m. for the summer tee off time of 9 a.m. We love having guests and meeting new golfers! Any interested lady golfer is welcome to join in.
