Patricia Ann ‘Patty’ Kosters

Patricia Ann “Patty” Kosters, 67, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2019, in Naples, Idaho. A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2019, at Mountain Springs Church in Bonners Ferry with Pastor Justin Gibbins officiating.

Patty was born Dec. 12, 1951, in Phoenix, Ariz., to Ora and Celia Herron. She grew up and attended schools in Phoenix. She worked for 40 years in the finance industry as an investment advisor for GWN Securities and for United Health Care in Medicare Enrollment.

Patty married Ron Kosters on March 18, 2000, in Scottsdale, Ariz. The couple purchased property in 2014 and built their retirement home in Naples, Idaho. Patty retired in 2018.

She is a member of Mountain Springs Church. She loved volunteering; serving the Lord, sharing Christ and making people feel welcome. She also enjoyed cooking, home design, decorating, gardening, and being outdoors with God.

She is survived by her husband Ron Kosters of Naples; son Daniel (Jennifer) Bryan of Litchfield Park, Ariz.; and daughter Lynn Bryan of Post Falls; granddaughter Samantha Bryan; three sisters, Myra (Scott Callan) of Gilbert, Ariz., Linda (Robert) Welson of Mission Viejo, Calif., and Martha Herron of Chandler, Ariz.; brothers and sisters-in-law Edwin (Kathy) Kosters of Alto, Mich.; Gordon (Karen) Kosters of Grandville, Mich., and (Henry) Marlene Hedden of Scotia, N.Y.

Memorial donations may be made to Mountain Springs Church and Bonner General Health Hospice of Sandpoint, Idaho.
