Multi-church Vacation Bible School set for Aug. 5-9

| July 25, 2019 1:00 AM

Summer fun for all kids ages kindergarten through sixth grade begins Aug. 5-9, noon to 4:30 p.m. each day, including FREE USDA lunch.

The theme for this Multi-Church Vacation Bible School is “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands,” held at the United Methodist Church on 6568 Lincoln, which is one block East of the two banks on Highway 95.

Missionaries from all over the world — including Bonners Ferry — will be sharing their adventures, along with Bible lessons, crafts, science projects, drama, music, games, a local service project and snacks.

Usually more than 100 kids attend, so registration rush can be avoided by signing up early at the four Churches — United Methodist, Church of the Nazarene, Trinity Lutheran, Springs of Living Water Free Methodist — or at the Hair Connection downtown. Registration is also available 11:30 a.m. to noon on Monday Aug 5 at the United Methodist Church.

The week-long activities conclude Friday, August 9, with a special program and free barbecue for all families and participants. For more info: Facebook @BonnersFerryVBS or 208-267-3068.
