Fire in north Bonner County

Photo by MIKE ELAM Fire crews responded to this structure fire in north Bonner County last week. The fire on May 28 resulted in a total loss of the house. The house was in an area of “no man’s land,” where the Northside and South Boundary fire departments, and Department of Lands had to come together to fight the blaze. “Temperatures are hot, fuel is dry, and everyone be careful,” said South Boundary Fire Department Chief Tony Rohrwasser.
