For the week of June 4-5, Game of the Day was “Low Net” and “Mystery Partner.” The Mystery Partner winners Wednesday morning were Anne Bonar and Linda Rupley. Since there were only three players on Tuesday evening, there was no mystery and they all won!
The Tuesday evening low gross winner in the A Flight was Maureen Blackmore with 53 and Renee Murphy in the B Flight with 55. For Wednesday morning, Flight A, low gross winner was Karen English with 51, and Flight B winner was Anne Bonar with 54. Low net winners: Tuesday evening, Flight A, Maureen Blackmore and Flight B, Blanche Studer. Way to go, Blanche! For Wednesday morning Flight A, Karen English won Low Net and in Flight B there was a tie between Anne Bonar and Ruth Ann Wilson. Least putts winners: Tuesday evening, Maureen Blackmore with 16; Wednesday morning Flight A, Karen English with 15, Flight B, Anne Bonar with 16. Very close, ladies!
The Mirror Lake Ladies would like to announce their upcoming “Margaritaville” Open on Wednesday, July 17, at the Mirror Lake Golf Club in Bonners Ferry. Margaritaville is the Ladies’ group’s annual 18-hole, over-the-top fun golf event open to all. Check in time is 8 a.m., tee off at 9 a.m., $65 per person for 18 holes of golf, cart and lunch included, and lots of prizes plus a terrific raffle.
We welcome all lady golfers from all clubs around Bonners Ferry, including our friends North of the Border and all counties South, and all lady golfers not affiliated in clubs but who like to play golf anyway. Come and meet fellow golfers for a very enjoyable day! The Mirror Lake golf ladies meet every Tuesday evening and/or every Wednesday morning at the Mirror Lake Golf Club in Bonners Ferry from the beginning of May through the middle of October. Tuesday evenings, arrive at 5, and Wednesday mornings, arrive at or around 8 a.m. for the summer tee off time of 9 a.m. We love having guests and meeting new golfers! Any interested lady golfer is welcome to join in.
