Nancy Kay Peck Solt

Nancy Kay Peck Solt, age 66, passed away June 11, 2019, in Yakima, Wash., after a well-fought, five-year battle with cancer.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2019, at Bridgeway Church in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. Graveside services will be held at a later date at Lower Valley Memorial in Sunnyside, Wash., where Nancy will be laid to rest alongside her parents.

Nancy was born Aug. 14, 1952, to James and Maxine Peck in Sunnyside, Wash. Nancy graduated from East Valley High School in 1970, she continued her school in accounting. Nancy is the youngest of four, her siblings include brothers Mike and Steve Peck and sister Marilyn Peck VanBelle.

Nancy is the mom of three kids: TJ Wayenberg, Lisa Solt Pluid, and Matthew Solt. She is also a grandma to four grandkids: Joshua Pluid, Nathan Solt, Kailee and Jimmy Wayenberg.

She was preceded in death by her parents James and Maxine Peck, brother Steve Peck and brother-in law Arch VanBelle.

Nancy is survived by her children TJ (Kelly) Wayenberg of Yakima, Wash,, Lisa Solt Pluid of Bonners Ferry, and Matthew (Carol) Solt of Bonners Ferry; grandkids Joshua Pluid, Nathan Solt, Kailee and Jimmy Wayenberg; brother Mike (Adelle) Peck of North Bend, Wash., sister Marilyn Peck VanBelle of Port Ludlow, Wash., and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Donations can be made in Nancy’s name to The North Star Lodge Cancer Center in Yakima, Wash.
