Girls from Boundary County, north Idaho, and Texas came together to play volleyball last week during a four day volleyball camp. Current middle school coaches and high school JV and Varsity players helped teach volleyball skills, plyometric exercises, and game like situations.

The girls competed in skills competitions each day in order to create good habits and progress in their skill level. The camper with the highest score in each competition are: Emma Lucas (serving), Brooke Petesch and Asha Abubakari (digging pit), Sydney Hinthorn and Markynn Pluid (setting), and Markynn Pluid (pass-set).

The last day of the camp culminated with a mini 4-on-4 volleyball tournament. The girls were divided into nine different teams and they played in a round-robin fashion, playing against everyone in attendance. The team with the best win-lost record consisted of Kailee Forte, Tauren Bateman, Maggie Weaver, and Joselyn Cartwright.

“Leave Nothing” was the theme this year, challenging the girls to work their hardest and don’t hold anything back when playing volleyball. Go Badgers!
