Mirror Lake Ladies' Golf Report

For the week of June 15-16, Game of the Day was “Most One Putts.” Jenny Link, Flight A, won with a whopping 5. Adding to a very good day, Jennie also won Low Gross, Flight A with 44, Low Putts with 11 and Jenny had a chip in on Hole #1. Linda Bogden tied with Jenny for Low net in Flight A with scores of 36.
There were only two players in the Tuesday night group, Julie Williams (Flight A) and Blanche Studer (Flight B), who just played together. Julie won the most one-putts and both Julie and Blanche won low gross, low net and low putts in their respective Flights. Good job, all!
Other Wednesday morning winners were for Most One Putts, Flight B, Carrie Figgins and Marie Vilelli who tied with two each. Anne Bonar won Low Gross, Flight B with 57, Etta Mae Schneurle won Low Net, Flight B, with 35 and Etta Mae and Ruth Ann Wilson tied for low putts, each with 17.
Once again, the Ladies’ Club “Margaritaville” Open will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at the Mirror Lake Golf Club — 18 holes of golf with friends, lunch and cart included, raffle and prizes. Check in time is 8 a.m., tee off at 9 a.m., $65 per person for 18 holes of golf, cart, lunch and the afternoon entertainment of raffle and prizes! All lady golfers are sought and welcome to join! The Mirror Lake golf ladies meet every Tuesday evening and/or every Wednesday morning at the Mirror Lake Golf Club in Bonners Ferry from the beginning of May through the middle of October. Tuesday evenings, arrive at 5 p.m., and Wednesday mornings, arrive at or around 8 a.m. for the summer tee off time of 9 a.m. We love having guests and meeting new golfers! Any interested lady golfer is welcome to join in.
