Move the arms and torso together

BONNERS FERRY — A simple swing drill with many benefits is to tuck a small towel, piece of paper, headcover — anything really — under your target side armpit (left side for a right handed golfer, opposite for a lefty) while practicing your swing.
Not only does it keep the target side arm connected to the chest on the backswing, but it also helps the upper body rotate. If the chest stops and the target arm separates, the object under the armpit will fall out.
It also facilitates a synchronized swing with the arms and body turning together which will lead to more solid shots. That’s good thing. Now get out and practice!
