Bonners Ferry High School Team, Dukes Claybusters: 17 degrees, clear and sunshine with north winds. Targets jumping today.
It’s hard to explain how proud the coach is of these school team shooting members. It’s called North Idaho Tough, shooting these good scores in this weather makes myself and all the parents very proud.
We have one more week in the Camas Prairie shoot. We did not get the results from the Spokesman Review Shoot or the Big Sky I-Net shoot, we will inform you as soon as we do.
Digger Powell had family medical issues, his wife was in the hospital in Coeur d’Alene. Digger and his wife work so hard each year to keep this shoot going. Let’s all say a prayer for them.

Bonners Ferry Gun Club: 10 a.m. 7 degrees, slight breeze out the North very cold. We had 11 shooters today plus one beginner who shot one round. One more week after today and the winter leagues will be over. Hope this cold weather is also over.
There was a tie again this week in “A” Class with two 43X50, with Ken N. taking advantage of his elders, by winning over Lonny. Good shooting Ken.
The “B” Class was won by James Daniels with 37X50. James and his wife Karen fed us all with pork chops and rice, very good on a cold day or anytime. Thank you both.
We had our four Annie Oakleys and I noticed some of our meat prizes going to Montana and Canada today. lol We are all members, but it hurts to see our meat going out of state and country, ha ha ha ... Good Shooting Guys.
Shoot safe and keep your powder dry.
Spring is coming ...
