Beta Sigma Phi organization helps local children

| March 21, 2019 1:00 AM

The Xi Beta Omicron Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi in Bonners Ferry recently donated several items to help children in crisis.

The group partnered with North Idaho CASA and the Boundary County Library to furnish and supply the Bonners Ferry location used by the Idaho Department of Health & Welfare for supervised visitation. Donations included toys, games, furniture and children’s books generously donated by Mr. Craig Anderson and the Boundary County Library.

Beta Sigma Phi is an international women’s group focused on friendship, cultural programs and service to local communities. Court Appointed Special Advocates, CASA, supports trained Advocates for more than 400 child abuse and neglect victims in North Idaho.

Advocates investigate child protection cases, represent the child’s best interest in court and help find them a safe home with a forever family. For more information regarding either organization, contact Kelly Bell via email at kellybell_123@yahoo.com.
