Bonners Ferry High School Trap Team News, “Dukes Claybusters”: The picture of the three trophy winners from last week was the BFG club awards for the winter shoots.

Colin Fairchild was runner up (second place) in the Sub.Jr. division in the Spokesman Review shoot and second place in the Big Sky I Net shoot, out of Montana league shoots. Kamen Nelson tied Colin for second place also in the Spokesman Review Telephonic shoot and Wyatt Hathaway Jr. class came in third high in the Big Sky I Net shoot for 2019.

I apologize for leaving this part out of the article with the pictures.

April 20

Melanie Campbell broke 23X25, Wyatt Hathaway 24X25, Wyatt McDonald 20X25, Queeny Hathaway 20X25, Zane Carver 19X25, Zack Carver 12X25, and Jake Powell 18X25.

April 27

Melanie Campbell 16X25, Dane Hathaway 22X25, Ryan Carelli 19X25, Kamen Nelson, 18X25, Wyatt Hathaway 21X25, Colin Fairchild 21X25, and Wyatt McDonald 18X25. Today was a bad morning for the shooters clay targets, hard wind with rain. The targets were jumping up and down. I admire the students enthusiasm, shooting in this weather. Very good scores for the conditions. When I left the club it was 34 degrees and white all over. Is spring really here??

April 28

Bonners Ferry Gun Club; Today we had better weather still windy but warmer. We only had seven shooters, shot a few practice rounds, then four Annies, only six in the Annies. I guess the old flu bug is going around as we had three shooter home sick. Get well soon, we need shooters to shoot out in the Annies. lol

Take care and be safe. Break them all.

Keep your powder dry.
