Free talk about cancer treatment alternatives
A bit over three years ago John Dilday married Linda Elliston in Bonners Ferry and they moved to Virginia. About six months later, he was diagnosed with neck cancer and was told without chemo and radiation therapies he would die in less than two months.
Believing the side effects of these treatments to be unacceptably uncomfortable and deadly, John and Linda began researching and doing alternatives. Mid-March this year, he checked into Chipsa Immunological Cancer Hospital in Tijuana, Mexico, for Gerson Diet therapy and a variety of medical treatments not available in the U.S. After eight weeks, the main tumor had been mostly absorbed by his immune system.
They have reserved the Memorial Hall at the Boundary County Fairgrounds at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May, 30 to give a summary talk and lead a discussion on their experience, the experiences they have witnessed of others, and to encourage people with cancer to recognize they have many options to choose from.
