Coldwell Banker Customer Appreciation Day is Friday
BONNERS FERRY — When the white maple tree, estimated to be about 130 years old, had to come down due to the Highway 95 reconstruction project, CJ Tuma, owner of Coldwell Banker North Woods Realty, wanted a way to preserve the majestic tree.
With help from Ken Schrock from Caribou Creek, a portion of the tree was converted into a rustic 1,500 pound bench. Cal Russell, owner of Boundary Tractor loaned the equipment to set the bench up outside of the Coldwell Banker building, where it now awaits guests that are invited to the Annual Customer Appreciation Day.
The Appreciation Day will take place this Friday, May 31, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The free lunch will feature slow cooked, pulled barbecue chicken sandwiches, coleslaw, beans, chips, soda, and ice cream.
