Bonners Ferry High School Trap Team News, “Dukes Claybusters”: A couple from the team, Kamen Nelson and Colin Fairchild, went to Libby, Mont., for a Cancer Fund shoot. Kamen won a 25 bird event with Colin coming in second place. Great shooting guys! I was not informed until too late to take the rest of the team — next time.
At home, Ryan Carelli broke the high score today, 23X25, Wyatt Hathaway 22X25, Wyatt McDonald 22X25, Reenie Hathaway 21X25, Melanie Campbell 20X25, and Dane Hathaway 20X25. All great shooting.

First of all I would like to thank everyone who helped unload the truck this morning before shooting practice.
Today we had Wade and Seth Rice back out shooting, plus a new shooter, Dillon McLeish. High score today was Wyatt Hathaway 24X25, Dane Hathaway 23X25, Seth Rice 22X25, Wade Rice 21X25, Dillon McLeish 20X25, Kamen Nelson 21X25, Wyatt McDonald 21X25, and Melanie Campbell 18X25. These are all great scores.
n The “Dukes Claybusters” high school trap team is having a raffle again this year. The items to win are: A new 2020 ATV Yamaha first place from Boundary Tractor, Gas barbecue from Super 1 Foods, Luxury Suite, Spa and Dinner Package from Kootenai River Inn, one ton of wood pallets or one pallet of presto logs from North Idaho Energy Logs, and $100 gas card from Three Mile Corner. Thanks to all.
Participants need not be present to win. Help support the school team out. One hundred percent goes to shells and safety gear. A thank you to Safeway for letting us sell tickets there and thanks to those who bought tickets. Friday and Saturday, May 31 and June 1, we will be at Super 1 Foods.
Bonners Ferry Gun Club: Regular shooting every Sunday at 10 a.m. Practice and Annie Oakleys and lots of fun. Come on out and watch 15-year old Melanie out-shoot coach Lonny, as she did last week. Great shooting Melanie.
