Regular trap shooting Sunday, 10 a.m. start until shooters decide to quit. Practice rounds and Annie Oakleys. If you see those ducks or geese keep on flying after you shot at them, come on out and shoot a few practice rounds at moving clay targets — it does help. Besides, it gets rid of the cobwebs from last year.

Always make sure your barrel is clear before loading or shooting your gun.

We had nine shooters each of the last two Sundays, practice 16 yards, and handicap, plus four Annie Oakleys with a great choice of meats for Annie winners from 27 yards, three guns up.

Shot safe and keep your powder dry.
