Hometown Holidays events are Dec. 7
Hometown Holidays is three great events in one day, happening on Saturday, Dec. 7:
- 9B Ladies on the Loose, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.;
- Free movie at the Pearl Theater at 1 p.m. (The Grinch); and
- Santa and downtown tree lighting at Georgia Mae Plaza at 4 p.m.
All info for Ladies on the Loose event is on Facebook — nine businesses are “stamping businesses,” and maps can be picked up at any of those businesses. Other businesses are “Bonus Businesses,” and ladies who go to all nine stamping are entered into a drawing to win cash and/or a Chamber of Commerce coupon book!
‘The Grinch’ starts at 1 p.m. at the Pearl and is sponsored by North Idaho Collision Repair Center. Free popcorn and juice are provided by Auburn Crest Hospice and Mugsy’s Tavern and Grill.
Santa is brought to us by Boundary Abstract, and he will arrive downtown on a firetruck at 4 p.m. The downtown tree lighting will also be at 4 p.m., and free cookies, cider, and hot chocolate will be provided, courtesy of Super 1 Foods, Safeway, Coldwell Banker, and Rusty Moose. Goody bags will be provided for kids waiting in line, courtesy of Boundary Consignments.
