Patricia (Patti) Bable Rogers

Patricia (Patti) Bable Rogers, 62, of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, passed away Oct. 6, 2019 in Lawrence, Kan., after a short battle with lung cancer.

Patti was born in Simi Valley, Calif., and moved to Bonners Ferry while in high school in the early 1970s. She graduated in 1975 from Bonners Ferry High School and later earned her nursing degree while living in Kansas. She worked as an LPN at Boundary Community Hospital after moving back to Bonners Ferry to take care of her aging parents.

Patti is preceded in death by her adoptive parents, Earle and Marie Bable, and adopted brother, Edward Bable, all of Bonners Ferry. She leaves behind four children: Heather Watson of Lawrence, Kan., Heidi Stockton of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, Louis Michalk of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and James Michalk of Boise.

Patti also leaves behind six grandchildren: Cole Watson (Heather), Kaleb and Hayden Stockton (Heidi), Liam Michalk (Louis), and Lilian and Eleanor Michalk (James). Also left behind are her husband Don Rogers, and step-daughter Darlene Rogers, both of Bonners Ferry.

No funeral service will be held.
