Valley View Newsletter: October
Valley View Elementary School (VVES) is off to a great start this year with a healthy amount of energy in our hallways, cafeteria, and of course at recess. The students are enjoying the fall learning activities, field trips, and visitors to VVES. The staff is doing an amazing job at personalizing education and creating positive lifelong memories for our students. It has been a wonderful beginning to another great year at VVES.
The month of September we celebrated the character trait of respect. The definition of respect is being considerate of others and dealing peacefully with anger; it is treating others the way you want to be treated and being Safe, Civil, and Productive at all times. The following students were selected by their teachers for showing a great amount of respect with their teachers and classmates. They are: Jacob Hanson, Deegan Attaway, Shepard Ronniger, Jaxon Barajas, Josephine Villarreal, Kole Kramer, Lacee Stephens, Jackson Chivira, Legacy Curiel, Jaycee Bateman, Madalynn Beggerly, Shane Rice, Alexis Holler, Kayli Petersen, Myron Michaels, Ammara Stewart, Kaelan Robbins, and Carmen West. The two staff members highlighted for being respectful are, Mrs. Stagliano and Mrs. Erickson. Please congratulate these respectful individuals when you see them.
VVES received a grant recently and will be constructing a gravel track for students, staff, and community members to utilize. This will be a great addition to our campus and will help with promoting physical activity.
Panhandle Health District is going to holding a Dental Day up in Boundary County, Nov. 12. It is a great opportunity for kids, teens and pregnant mothers to get their teeth cleaned if they are uninsured or can’t get into a dental home!
Our hard working staff is preparing for Parent-Teacher conferences at VVES during the week of Nov. 18-21. We look forward to a great turn out and the opportunity to take a look at and discuss the new report cards. Thank you in advance for making it a point to attend these important meetings.
