Gun Club News
Saturday, Sept. 7
Bonners Ferry High School Trap Team, “Dukes Claybusters”: Wow! We had 10 shooters today plus three brand new ones from Hunter Safety Class, who had passed the class today.
The high score was Zane Carver with 23X25, Kamen 22X25, Colin 21X25, Melanie 20X25, Cassidy 18X25, Dillon 18X25, Ryan 18X25, Wyatt M. 18x25, and Taylor 14X25. The other new shooters getting used to their gun and shooting at small clay targets all are doing well.
Safety, gun fit, stance, swing when to and not to, put shell in gun. A whole lot to remember first time out. Safety first and all are doing very well. It takes a lot of practice.
Sundary, Sept. 8
Bonners Ferry Gun Club: We only had nine shooters today. Practice rounds and our usual four Annie Oakley’s great fun — you duck and geese hunters are welcome to come out and practice on Sundays and get used to your shotgun you haven’t shot since last year — as bird season isn’t to far off.
The poor attendance on Wednesdays and the colder rainy weather has convinced me to discontinue our Wednesday’s shooting until next spring and I thank you all. We are now open Saturdays 10 a.m. school shooters practice, and Sundays at 10 a.m. for all.
Shoot safe and keep your powder dry. Thanks again to all for your great support of our raffle this year.
