Notice Fee Increase Hearing The City of Bonners Ferry will meet on September 17, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chamber, 7232 Main Street, Bonners Ferry, Idaho, for the purpose of taking public testimony regarding a fee increase to the city's electric rates. Pursuant to Idaho Code 63-1311A, City Council will consider a 9.5% increase to the base rate, kilowatt per hour rate and demand charges across electric rate classes as shown in the attached rate table. This increase is based on recommendations made by an independent consulting firm during a cost of service rate study conducted by the City. The purpose of the rate increase is to cover continued operation and maintenance costs across the city's electric system, raise capital to complete a 5-year capital improvement plan that perform improvements to the City's electric infrastructure and make vital spillway repairs at the Moyie River Hydro facility. A table illustrating the 5-year capital improvement plan can be found by visiting the City's website or by visiting City hall during regular business hours. City of Bonners Ferry Boundary County, Idaho Moyie Dam Penstock Valve Stem Repair Project Advertisement to Bid Separate sealed BIDS for the Moyie Dam Penstock Valve Stem Repair Project will be received by the City of Bonners Ferry at 7232 Main St., Bonners Ferry, ID 83805, until 4:00 PM local time on September 20, 2019 and then be publicly opened and read aloud at Bonners Ferry City Hall.
