THANKS: End-of-life kindness appreciated

My family experienced the amazing “friendliest” actions from many people of Bonners Ferry this summer when we were here taking care of my mother, Fae Bella, in her last stages of life.

Sunset Home staff, you held our hands, gave us hugs when we felt overwhelmed, you fed us knowing we were there for the many hours and didn’t have time to eat, and you recognized the need for guidance, words of encouragement, and silence … all at the right time. Your tender heart towards my family in this difficult time was more than we could expect. Thank you again all of you.

Thank you Ed Earnest, you provided a U-Haul truck to pack my mother’s belongings … you completely understood our stress and challenges that we faced. You were very kind and generous to us.

Auburn Crest Hospice, what words could we even use to adequately express the care you gave Fae this last year … your personal and professional care for Fae … and my family is beyond words. What a blessing for us how you walked this journey with her and with us as well. It is evident it is more than a job for you … because you gave so much. We are so grateful.

A special thank you to Pastor Don Wheeler and Dave and Andrea Kramer and MSC! God bless you all.
